Many think of exams like the SAT/ACT as long, dreadful standardized tests used as tools to see who is qualified for college. Some are eager to take the tests, and others, not so much. Some question the importance of the tests and are unsure if taking the tests are worth the sacrifices. Whether you take the SAT/ACT or not is a personal choice but it is one that will have a major impact on your academic career and should be well thought out.
